Alabama Alabama Emergency Management Agency Tabletop This exercise allowed diverse communities to evaluate and share plans, policies, and procedures associated with a large natural disaster. In this case a hurricane.
California Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Full Scale Urban Shield is a tactical competition exercise that involved the participation of 25 law enforcement special operations teams (SWAT Teams). Each team will went through 24 different exercise sites in a continuous 50-hour period, encountering various scenarios such as hostage rescue and terrorism interception.
Bay Area UASI Functional The Silver Sentinel 2008 FE was designed to assess elements of the Regional Emergency Coordination Plan (RECP) that directly relate to regional information flow, resource tracking and ordering, and communications systems during the transition from response to short- and long-term recovery phases following a major earthquake on the Hayward Fault.
Southern California Edison (SoCal Ed) Red Teaming The Red Team Drills were designed to assess SCE’s capability to prevent and protect SCE employees, sites, and property against physical-security security threats.
Red Teaming This exercise focused on building capabilities to better prevent, protect, mitigate, respond, and recover from cyber security threats. The Red Team Drills focus is on the tactical level of response to a specific threat, and will evaluate the policies, plans, and procedures for an escalating incident.
Federal Emergency Management Agency / DEMORT Drill This unique exercise place non-human analogs in a vehicle packed with explosives. Post-blast, the DEMORT located, marked, and identified all remains.
Connecticut Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security Tabletop This Dam Failure Response and Recovery exercise was conducted for the Governor Rell and her cabinet to evaluate new and existing plans, policies, and procedures for the State of Connecticut regarding response to and recovery from a dam failure incident

Minnesota Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) Functional The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) conducted 8 multi-day Functional Exercises (FE). these were command post exercise, focusing on a cooperative district-wide response to abnormal and potential terrorist incidents occurring within Minnesota.
TTX / AAR The exercise focused on an analysis of the Mn/DOT response and recovery efforts following the collapse of the Interstate 35W (I-35W) Bridge over the Mississippi River on August 1, 2007.
